E-commerce
E-commerce (electronic commerce) refers to the use of communicative platforms on the Internet to trade goods and services. This includes the use of websites, social media, applications and auction sites. The Internet has become an important method of business activity connecting businesses to other businesses as well as consumers. E-commerce has created new opportunities and threats and a redesign of the marketing mix. Students will consider the impact of e-commerce to both businesses and consumers.
